Scott Simonich.

With over 30 years of dynamic leadership in the mortgage industry, Scott founded SiFi Lending as an institution for innovative lending solutions and a commitment to client satisfaction, while providing a complete loan origination platform for experienced mortgage professionals.
A visionary leader in the industry, Scott founded BWC Mortgage Services in affiliation with Bank of Walnut Creek in 1994 — pioneering the concept of bank–mortgage broker partnerships, the first of its kind in the nation. When Bank of Walnut Creek was acquired by First Republic Bank in 2006, he bought out the bank’s interest and took the company private.
In 2009 he sold half the company to Redding Bank of Commerce and rebranded as Bank of Commerce Mortgage. Following the company’s growth, he reacquired the bank’s 51% interest and established Commerce Home Mortgage in 2012. From there, CHM became a nationwide force with over 27 branches and more than $3 billion in annual closings. In 2018, he orchestrated the sale of the company to a private equity firm.
Over 24 years he grew Commerce Home Mortgage to more than 27 branches across multiple states, over 300 employees, and annual funded volume peaking above $3 billion — and was recognized as one of the top 100 mortgage executives in the country for more than 10 years of his career. In 2018 he executed the sale of the company to The Capital Corps, a Los Angeles investment firm run by former executives of Banc of California.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Scott graduated with a BA in Business from St. Mary’s College and continues to invest in his community — helping those around him bring their visions to life across residential, commercial, and private capital lending.
